Hello Ladies and Gents!

First of all, I would like to thank the staff here at Transformation Magazine and Transformation Online for the warm welcome as I come on board as Contributing Editor. This is a very exciting and welcome opportunity for me and I hope to be someone who can fit in with the “Sassy, classy, and a little bit trashy!” fun that is Transformation Magazine and also make some great friends here.
Some of you may be familiar with me from my website, Krissy4u – Naughty Asian Tgirl, which I have owned and operated independently for about 8 years now. I’m very proud of my accomplishments within the porn world, having built from scratch one of the most successful independently-owned and operated TS porn sites in the world. Krissy4u – Naughty Asian Tgirl has been nominated for four consecutive years in the “Best Solo Website” category of the Tranny Awards, which is quite an accomplishment considering the competition!

I have always been of the opinion that if you’re going to become an author in a public forum such as Transformation Magazine, your readers should know who you are. While I hope to have some fun here, writing Life & Style pieces, hosting some interviews, and reviewing products, I also hope to engage with many of you and have some more serious conversations regarding happenings in the Transgendered Communities. As you get to know me better, my hope is that you will find me to be an authentic person who writes passionately about subjects that I care about, as well as fairly and intelligently about subjects which are outside my areas of expertise. So, here is a little introduction about me…

My earliest memory involves me waving a small American flag. The details are a little bit hazy, but I have seen the actual picture of the event, which leads me to believe this actually happened. In the picture I am surrounded by my adopted Father, Mother, and (non-biological) brother…one happy, normal family. Apparently my brother and I had just completed the naturalization process after being adopted from South Korea and were now happy citizens of the United States of America, something which I am, and will be eternally grateful for, whatever your feelings are about this great country we share.
The second most vivid memory that I have as a child is being raped by a cousin one night, and quite honestly, even at that young age, that is where one’s childhood ends and adulthood begins.
The third most vivid memory that I have is being awakened in the middle of the night by the sound of running feet through the hallway and realizing—without even being told—that Mom, at the age of 39, was gone. She had lost a struggle with diabetes which was diagnosed shortly after she and my Dad adopted my brother and I. It was not an easy struggle; the disease eventually ended up taking her sight and causing a severe depression which was difficult for my Dad to handle and for us children to understand with the constant mood swings.

So, I know most of you are probably wondering by now, “Yes, but when did you start wearing panties?” C’mon, you know that is going through your head!
The typical answer to that question would be, soon after Memory #2, but that would be incorrect. The truth of the matter is, I remember shuffling around in Mom’s shoes well before that; wearing her dresses, and just having that gnawing feeling of “different.” Those of you who have experienced such feelings know what I’m talking about and just how difficult it is to explain. I don’t count those as “vivid” memories because they are so natural to me and always have been.

My new parent’s answer to this “behavior,” which continued as soon as I got out of the hospital, was to send me on a string of missionary trips to various countries around the world, including India, China, Costa Rica, Israel, Mexico, and many, many more. My teenage years were, in fact, largely spent traveling the world when not in school, soaking up the rich cultures I encountered, and shaping a worldview that I hold to this day. As valuable as these trips were to me as a person, they did little to curb my penchant for doing and wearing “girly” things around the house, and neither did the numerous sports programs, musical instruments, and extra-curricular activities that my parents pushed me into throughout my teenage years. They did, however, make me a very well-rounded individual who can play piano, cello, violin, flute, and guitar… so there is that!

I was introduced into the world of porn when I was able to purchase my first computer (With a whole 2MB of RAM! Does that date me a bit?). When the world of the Internet was opened to me, it was like a light bulb exploded in my brain and I finally had people that I could identify with and relate to. I think I rushed out and bought my very first digital camera and took some grainy, poorly lit, PG rated pictures of me and posted them on some Geocities page. The rest is, as they say, history.

I’ve left quite a bit out of this story of my life because quite honestly, I could probably sit here and take up another four or five pages filling in the blanks, but who wants to read that, right? In closing, I will say this. I am not an activist or an “Academic” or a “voice” for the community. I am not a Transsexual, a Crossdresser, or a Shemale. I am A PERSON who has lived a life that many of you have probably led in some part and I hope to get to know each and every one of you more.
